Omega is a GNU/Linux server, operated by the Office of Information Technology, providing access to compilers, databases, web hosting, and e-mail. Omega is primarily used by UT Arlington students and faculty needing a reliable platform for programming and database courses. Access is open to all currently-enrolled students, as well as faculty/staff. Please contact the OIT Computing Helpdesk to obtain an account.
